CALTONE
RECORDS

The Caltone label was launched in the UK by R&B discs in 1967 and neatly coincided with the advent of Rock Steady, so, as the label only lasted for a year, most of the issues were on that rhythm. Bunny Lee was helping Lack out on productions at the time, which is evident in some of the issues, as it predates his own excellent Rock Steady productions such as, Run Come Dance by Glen Adams. Manufactured And Distributed By
R&B Records. TONE 121 to 123 were actually released on Jolly Records
