GEMINI
RECORDS

A descendant of the 1960's 'Morgan' label.  Barry Morgan founded a publishing company, a record company and a recording studio (in London), all of which bore his surname.  At some point in late 1969 the Morgan record label seems to have been replaced by Gemini, certain more popular items from the Morgan catalogue being reissued on the new label.  Gemini seems to have had the same sort of split personality that its predecessor had demonstrated.  Operating from 1969-1973, it concentrated mainly on Easy Listening albums; but in among all the Hammond organ records with well-built scantily-clad ladies on the covers are the occasional Rock and Psychedelic item by the likes of The Ghost and Sheridan & Price.  Gemini singles aren't often found, nowadays.  Marketing was by President Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons for the info.
