HAPPY TIME Children's music label owned by Pickwick Records launched in the 1960s. It was used to release children's LPs, mainly recycled recordings originally released on Cricket); it was later used to release storybook albums and recordings of more contemporary kid-friendly material like then-recent Walt Disney movie soundtrack (The Jungle Book, The Aristocats) and Broadway musical (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!) covers. Pickwick (UK) used this as its children's music label until the Mr. Pickwick brand was launched there in circa 1966).Both Happy Time and Cricket labels were succeeded by Mr. Pickwick in the US and Canada by 1972. whereas the 1970s British version of Happy Time was owned by Damont Records.  It issued at least a dozen EPs of material, much of which was produced by Damils, of the U.S.A.  Catalogue numbers were in a HT-0 series, The EPs, which came in colured picture sleeves and were all issued in 1975, sold in shops such as Woolworths for the princely sum of 19 pence.  The label was yellow with mid-blue.
