Independent label: A Reggae label; initially a subsidiary of Bamboo Records, latterly part of the Trojan group. Bamboo-era singles were issued in an ACK-100 series; they reached at least ACK-151, in 1972, and appeared in two different designs. Trojan took over c.1973, and changed the catalogue numbering to ACK-500; more than forty singles were issued during this period, which lasted to c.1975.
