Pye Records formed Pye Golden Guinea Records in the early
1957 as a budget-price album label, originally costing one guinea (£1 1s 0d). It was closed in the seventies and
eventually replaced by Marble Arch Records. some of the Labels marked "Woman's Own Special"
- presumably issued by the UK magazine "Woman's Own" Manufactured And
Distributed By Pye Records. Former Address: ATV House, Great Cumberland Place,
