Shove was a British wildlife field recordist - now deceased. Born near Dartmoor
in Devon. He won first prize in the 1964 B.B.C./Council For Nature wildlife
tape-recording competition and became one of Britain''s best known nature
recordists in the 1960s. His British wildlife recordings are now in the National
Sound Archive.
