Summer County was made by Walt Disney Records and CBS Special Products, CSP A Service of CBS Records. Sister label of Columbia Special Products. Budget reissue and compilation label. CBS Special Products was also used as the outlet for the promotional material services offered by CBS Records in the US, Canada, Britain and Contnental Europe (i.e. Promotional record from Summer County Margarine. 1965, etc.). Among its duties was assembling and pressing compilation albums for telemarketing companies (i.e. Time Life Music, Ronco, Sessions) and various other companies for promotional use. Renamed Sony Music Special Products in 1991.
